Private Lessons
MRI offers private lessons to obtain your Motorcycle Safety Foundation Completion Certificate or an abbreviated program to enhance your riding skills
Motorcycle Safety Foundation Certification
This plan, scheduled at your convenience, consist of two nine-hour days of intensive one-on-one instruction. Films, lecture and riding classes are included. We supply the motorcycle, helmet and course materials. If you pass both the written and skills test, a completion card is issued. The card, which can represent substantial savings on insurance premiums and potential rebates from manufacturers, exempts you from further testing at the driver license office.
Non-certified Skills Development
This plan, scheduled at your convenience, consists of a minimum of two hours of instruction aimed at increasing the skill level of the rider. It may be conducted on our motorcycle or yours. An initial evaluation of your skill level is made and the course is customized to focus on areas of desired improvement.
The State of Florida Motorcycle Operator License written and skills tests can be included as part of this instruction at no additional cost. If you pass both tests, a waiver is issued which exempts you from further testing at the driver license office.
